COMMANDERS CORNER
My fellow Legion Members,
Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is Neil Gransbury. I am honored to be your Commander for the next year. I look forward to working with all members to keep our post great. The next couple of months, we have some great events coming up. September 4th is the Post Installation dinner, then September 13th is the Military Appreciation night football game at Bedford High. Please come out and show your support. Next is the Chicken BBQ on October 6th. Friday, October 11th there will be a 200 drawing, November 23rd will be the ham and turkey raffle, and last but not least in December, we have the Children and Adult Christmas Parties.
I would like to remind everyone that the Post meeting is the First Wednesday of every month. We would like to see more members coming out and letting their voices be heard and please do not be afraid to reach out to myself or any other officer if you have a question or concern. We are here to help.
Please also consider volunteering a little time for the Chicken BBQ’s and other Post functions. We need a few more active hands helping out.
Neil Gransbury, Post 113 Commander

SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION SQUADRON 113
Greetings,
Hello again everyone. We will be having our annual Veteran’s Day dinner and dance this year on November 9th. We welcome all veterans and their families to attend for a meal and live music.
I would like to encourage all Squadron members to attend our monthly meeting which takes place on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Members’ attendance and participation in the meetings ensures a healthy squadron that makes sound decisions and can fulfill all its duties.
Jerod Burkett
Commander, SAL Squadron 113
