In order to process your application for membership, one of the following is required:

DD214 PROOF OF VETERAN RECORD OF SERVICE received when discharged from Military Service. The Veteran should have recorded a copy of the DD214 at the Courthouse of his/her home of record when discharged. Contact the courthouse for a copy.
Call the NATIONAL ARCHIVES AND RECORDS ADMINISTRATION to receive a copy. Phone 1-866-272-6272 You will need the following: copy of a death certificate, published obituary, or a letter from the funeral home.
